Jason Busbey named BISD Director of Operations

The Bonham ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve Mr. Jason Busbey as the BISD Director of Operations beginning July 1, 2022. Mr. Busbey is currently serving his second year as principal of L.H. Rather Junior High. Prior to that, he served as LHR assistant principal for four years. Mr. Busbey has twenty-three years of experience in education, ten of which have been in administrative roles. In addition to school administration, Mr. Busbey also has leadership experience in construction management and facilities maintenance.

Mr. Busbey states, "I have been extremely proud to serve L.H. Rather for the past six years and am looking forward to continuing my service to the District as the next Director of Operations. I'm excited to lead my departments in providing excellent customer service while striving to achieve District improvement goals."

Bonham ISD is honored to have Mr. Busbey serve in this new role and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on BISD.
